The Kingdom
The Kingdom

In 2019, Forbidden Kingdom was just an idea. A bass music festival with a fantasy world built around it. There was no template for what it should look like, no existing visual language to inherit. Everything had to be created from scratch.

The concept was ambitious: a festival where attendees didn’t just listen to music, they entered a kingdom. Dragons. Castles. Fire and fury. The visual identity needed to make people believe in a world that didn’t exist yet.

That’s where I started, not with a logo, but with a world. What does this kingdom feel like?

Once the mythology was defined, everything else followed: the identity system, the typography hierarchy, the photographic style, the way the stages should feel, the merchandise people would actually want to wear after the festival ended.
